Review Of Vegetarian Cooking Classes

from:

Vegetarian cooking classes are a great way to enjoy learning to cook vegetarian. Vegetarian cooking classes range from general to topic specific. Each individual can find the class that fits their needs best.

The School of Natural Cookery offers vegetarian cooking classes for different groups of individuals. For the home cook, the only course available is the Language of Cooking course. This is achieved in three parts, a knife skills section, and an intensives section. Part one is all about primary elements. This class focuses on whole dish grains, vegetables, vegetable proteins, sauces, Japanese knife skills, improvisation, and the language of cooking without recipes. Part two is all about making the meal from the soup, the vegetable protein, improvisational desserts, and the balanced meal. Part three is all about Ethnic cooking. Individuals learn about MEditerrean, Asian and American cooking. The specialty classes are limited. They offer living foods, cooking from the inside out, and fruit and vegetable garnishing and sculpting. The living foods seminar is all about learning to cook with raw vegetables. The cooking from the inside is out seminar is about learning improvisational cooking, tasting a balanced meal, and learning how to choose healing foods.

Natural Gourmet Institute offers vegetarian cooking classes to all individuals and their needs. They do this by offering a variety of specialty classes ranging from food specific to age specific, including ones on pastry and dessert making. The seminars that they offer are ayurveda, basics one through four which is four classes in one seminar, basic summer intensive which is a two week course, cooking techniques, ethnic and regional cuisine, fermented and cultured foods, fish, macrobiotics, manage an individual’s medical condition, market tours, medicinal mushrooms, quick and easy, raw foods, seitan, tempeh, and weight loss.
