French Cooking Classes

from: French cooking classes differ in concept from regular cooking schools. The concept combines a vacation with French cooking lessons. Establishments offering French cooking classes provide the best chefs, top-of-the-line kitchen gadgets, and the best working kitchens. There are also local French Cooking classes in the USA.

The Walnut Grove offers French cooking classes and strictly maintains a maximum of four people per chef. This way there is a personalized approach in the teaching method. Emphasis is placed on very fresh ingredients, and flavors as well as clean and careful food preparation and presentation. . The school stick by its commitment to let students learn by doing rather than learn by watching.
Promenades Gourmandes provide French cooking classes and gustatory tours in Paris. Paule Caillat, the host and teacher, is an experienced cooking teacher and food consultant. Caillat has been sharing her passion for French food since 1997.

Marguerite’s Elegant Home Cooking provides French cooking classes not only to individuals but also to companies. The homey ambience in her well-equipped kitchen is spiced up by the hands-on lessons provided. Marguerite believes that to master a technique, one must sweat it out. Seasonal recipes are also provided upon request online.

Susan Hermann Loomis offers one-day hands-on morning and afternoon - French cooking classes but only on scheduled months. Susan Hermann Loomis is also a cookbook author. Those interested can check out this offer in the net. Reservations must be made well in advance.

In Cooking with Friends in France, students get immersed in all aspects of French cooking. Students get a first-hand experience in going to market, using the cheese cave, selecting fresh meats, fish and poultry. Students get the one-of-a-lifetime experience of French cooking classes in Julia Child’s kitchen!

In Taste of Provence, this class includes accommodations, tuition, five breakfasts, three lunches and five dinners. Fares and other transportation fees are not included in the program. The French cooking classes have a provencial menu per season. Students get a chance to pick vegetables and other fresh ingredients from the market and see the sights.

You can attend French cooking classes provided by Chef Francois Dionot who will provide a 4-hour demonstration session. Students get a copy of the recipes before the class starts. Chef Dionot, born in France, was schooled in the best tradition of French cuisine. The French cooking classes are held at the L’ Academie de Cuisine in Betheseda, Maryland.
